Hickok was born in 1837, not in 1838.

hardin did his famous flip around on wild bill. holding the gun butt up the twirling the gun over and twisting it at the same time making the barrel point towards hickok. hickok would have been in deep crap if hardin and hickok were not already friends. hardin never held back from killing ANYONE he didnt like.

I think I visited his grave when I was 14 in South Dakota when my grandparents took me to see Mt Rushmore.

Hickok was standing off a crowd during a street brawl, during which time. Hickok caught the glimpse of movement of someone running toward him and quickly fired two shots in reaction, accidentally shooting and killing his Deputy Marshal Mike Williams, who was coming to his aid, an event that haunted Hickok for the remainder of his life. He wasnt so much fire as he just left.

lost job in abilene cause he was breakin up a fight heard foot steps behind him thought he was being attacked from behind whirled around and fired shot his own deputy mike williams through the heart it haunted him the rest of his life
