My Prince Charming [One Shot - Part One]

It was snowing and cold when I felt two strong arms wrap around me. I turn my head to see Joe standing there looking straight ahead into the peaceful meadow. He smiles when he notices me looking at him. He turns his head so were looking at each other, and we both smile. He leans in and kisses me gently. We pull away and both look straight ahead again into the meadow. Meet Joe, my husband.

Joe and I, Demi, have been married for 5 years now. We met when I was 2 and Joe was 5. In case you couldnt tell, hes 3 years older than me. Anyway, we have 1 baby girl, Kaylee who is 1 year old. And I am expecting another, a baby boy. I am 7 months along. We still havent decided a name that we all agree on. Were working on that tonight at dinner.

Demi: So any new names come to mind this week?
Joe: Yeah. I was thinking Christopher James, or Mason Taylor, or Lucas Andrew. Did you come up with any?
Demi: Two, Zachary Austin, and Rylan Parker.
Joe: *nods* Those are cute. *smiles*
Demi: Yours are too. I just dont know what name to pick.
Joe: Me neither. *takes a bite of his pasta*
*Phone Rings*
Demi: Ill get it. *gets up and goes to the phone* Hello?
Selena: Colton Ainsley Jonas.
Demi: *gasps a little* Perfect! How did you find it?
Selena: I was on the computer looking up some early Christmas presents and I was looking at this one and two different people commented on it and their names were Colton and Ainsley and I put them together, and wa-la!
Demi: Thank you so much! I have to go though, were eating dinner. Bye, Sel.
Selena: Bye, Dems! *hangs up*
Demi: *hangs up and walks back to the table smiling* Colton Ainsley Jonas.
Joe: *looks up from Kaylee* Thats perfect! *smiles*

-2 months later, December 23rd

Demi: *in the living room with Kaylee watching TV, waiting for Selena to some over*
*knock on the door*
Demi: *yells* ITS OPEN!
Selena: *walks into the living room* ALREADY IN!
Demi: *smiles* Hi, Sel.
Selena: Hi Demi. Hi, Kaylee.
Kaylee: Hi, Swelly!
Selena: *smiles and sits beside Demi* How are you feeling?
Demi: Terrible. Ive been having contractions all day and they just wont stop.
Selena: Have you called your doctor?
Demi: Yeah. He said if they get up to 3 minutes or less apart, go to the hospital.
Selena: How far apart are they?
Demi: *shrugs* about 5-6 minutes.
Selena: Okay.
-2 hours later-

Demi: *making lunch then quickly turns everything off and goes into the living room* Sel?
Selena: Yeah? *playing with Kaylee*
Demi: Call Joe and can you drive me to the hospital?
Selena: *picks Kaylee up and runs into Demis room while saying: Sure! Go into the car! Ill get everything!*
Demi: *slowly walks into the car and gets her seatbelt on*
Selena: *a minute or two later comes out with Kaylee in one arm, cell phone pressed against her ear, a bag around her shoulder, another bag around her other shoulder, and running to Demis car then grabs Kaylees car seat and running to her car putting everything in and attaching the car seat then putting Kaylee in and running around to the drivers seat.*
Demi: *sitting there watching her, what she got of the phone conversation was something like Yes. Go to. Demi. Possibly. Okay.*
Selena: *backs out and drives towards the hospital*

-At The Hospital, In Demis Room

Demi: *laying in bed, she was 8 centimeters dialated and Joe still wasnt there. He worked as a businessman in Topeka, 4 hours away from the hospital they were at.*
Selena: *sitting in a chair beside Demi with Kaylee in her lap* You okay?
Demi: *nods* Wheres Joe?
Selena: I just called while you fell asleep, He said hes about 20 minutes away.
Demi: *nods and closes her eyes about an hour later she is woken up by Joe telling her its time. She nods and looks at the position she is in. Joe is standing beside her with her hand in his. Selena was gone, Demi guessing she was in the waiting room since Joe arrived. Both her feet were flat against the bed causing her knees to be up in the air. She looks around and sees the doctor at the side of the room talking with the nurse.*
Joe: You ready? *smiles*
Demi: *looks up at him and smiles a little* Yeah.
Doctor: Okay Demi, on your next contraction, youre going to push. Okay?
