Their life style would not be my cup of tea. Medically speaking if one person develops a yeast infection well you can bank that the rest of them would also be at risk in catching it. In saying that the infections being passed around affects everyone differently and I just wonder if they ever think of these things. Also just my opinion here I do not think religion is a big play factor here what I really think is that these peop;le are afraid of being alone in life & have emotional issues.

i think as long as they are all happy with their choices and the children are healthy and happy...why should we make a big deal over this?

I really don't see the problem with this. No child brides, no forced marriage... just 5 consenting adults. I may not be able to relate to it, but really don't care if it works for them and they are happy! For me, its the same argument that is happening with same-sex marriage. Why do we care as long as it is two consenting adults deciding who they want to spend their lives with!! As long as they are not causing harm to others, who do we think we are denying them the love that everyone deserves?

@guayacan07 I don't think they are connected. As for using god as an excuse for behaviour, its the most common justification on earth. If they really believe it and are happy and hurt no one then I think they should be left to their own. And no, I don't think the husband would like mutiply hubbys- there is only 1 culture in the world that practices polyandry (one wife many men)and if they are raised to expect it they accept it- its all perception of whats "normal""- and thats true for anyone

@mompm:I dunno but it seems suspicious to me they came up with this show at the time of the Warren Jeff Scandal. I don't really care what they do either, but I do not like the use of the word god to justify things. Also, if they believe the more the merrier, I'd like to see this guy's face if the women were to bring 4 husbands each into the household. One big happy family right?

@guayacan07 what is their connection to warren jeffs and the segragated cult like home they live in? That's like saying the westbourough baptist church is the same as all christian religions. I think if they are consenting adults that choose this ,who cares

This family was used by the FLDS church to come on TV and smile and send a message to the public that polygamists are so happy and all in hope to retain members in the church after Warren Jeff was arrested.
