Where did you get those big falling dogs from? I have a 441 and love it, just wish the dogs had a little more reach when face cutting for falling and cutting rotten trees. Thanks!

this saw ( as well as others ) is good ad very nice so as it is without any port-works..
I have one big saw ( stihl MS 064) already 10 years, it cuts perfect as a stock saw for me all the time. It start everytime. I have One trimmer ( FS 80 ) This is also about 10 - 15 years old. I have never ever made any modification or something.. I just put the mix-pertol in and clean it when necessary.

How often d'you need to sharpen the saw teeth if cutting regularly through light timbers?

Depends on how clean the wood is. Sometimes a couple days, sometimes couple hours.

Just go to your STIHL dealer and ask for 3/4 wrap or full wrap handlebars for your 441. In my mind a saw is useless for work without a wrap handlebar set on.
