NHS local spent a day with the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Crew.
See how the team race to the rescue of a chainsaw victim and a woman who was struck by a golf ball.

  • I don't see the point of there being a Doctor... In Canada we have Critical Care Paramedics, and they know about 60 medications and can perform advanced assessments and any vital procedures. I'm pretty sure their training is much higher then the paramedics in UK. Just train your Paramedics much more advanced techniques.

  • @havoc999998 It costs more money to give paramedics more training. Not only that, but by having a fully trained doctor on board, they can, in an emergency perform operations and other advanced procedures at the scene.

  • @havoc999998 Haha, Canadian and Paramedic training is considered poor by us brits. Our Paramedics are educated at a far higher level then yours. We do indeed have a few critical care paramedics working for SECAMB now.

  • @strensham2006 Thank you, we will alter the details.
