  • I heard that Don was the first to use the palm method. Most likely true as he thought of almost everything else. Still my #1 Hero. The cork on the mute is the secret. To bad one can't attach it to the palm.

  • You pull some killer tome out of that old prewar. Clean pickin'. Nice material. Good job!

  • I have always felt the Pre-War sound is both old Pickers and old banjo's. Thanks for such a nice compliment. Buzz

  • Just had longer to achieve this,eh? At 71 Yrs old. Thanks so much for sticking by me all these yrs. Buzz

  • killer tone on that banjo ~

  • Wow that is some incredible playing - - (love that Last Date version!!) you are a master for sure. Is that a late 30's Gibson mastertone flathead? I'm not sure I've seen all that fancy hexagon inlay before. Outstanding!

  • I do a similar thing just with my hand and its cool to see someone else doing it!

By the way Don Reno is my hero too! He was by far the best!

Of all the thousands of 5 string videos on YouTube - I'll wager there is none that comes close to your inventiveness and creativity.

Still your biggest fan for over 45 years

    Mike
