What on earth is this car? The front of it appears to be from the Galant that dated from 1988 to 1993, but the interior says otherwise.
The second to the top comment above says its a Diamante, and the dashboard would tend to agree with that.
In truth this car is not a Galant, Sigma, Magna, or Diamante, or at least it doesn't match any of those vehicles that were sold in or imported into New Zealand.

This is actually based off the Magna shell with the Diamante rear end. Underside is identical to that of the same year 3000GT/GTO. the magna got this shell, but only with the SOHC engine and shitty beam axle rear end, Diamante got the works...
I own both a Magna and Diamante.....Love my Diamante....20 years old and still going strong.

Yes, this was a Diamante in some markets. For a 20 year old design I still think the Mitsubishi it looks like a great car.
