Wisher may have been the original but Terry is my favourite Davros. Quite simply magnificant.

@MrBacktothenineties It was a good con but the venue location was rubbish for people like me who came by train, I gather they used to use a hotel a short walk from Birmingham New Street Station, wish they'd return there. I was two hours late and had to pay for two expensive cab jouneys.

I think mainly because there would be no prosthetic good enough to conceal Terry's gut. Don't get me wrong, I loved Terry's portrayal, however I think Julian Bleach's performance struck Just the right note between Michael Wisher's and Terry's Davros, even the mask looks an like an amalgamation between the two. Besides Terry still does the big finish audios and his voice is as good as ever in those!

I agree. Julian Bleach was absolutely fantastic at playing Davros but why did Russell T. Davies not think of letting Terry Molloy reprise his role? Terry Molloy was an excellent Davros too. Terry Molloy stated that he was not even approached.

However, Julian Bleach was brilliant. I think he is the definitive portrayal (although that is probably partly to do with the excellent make up and prosthetics). I hope Julian continues to play as Davros in future episodes.

Don't get me wrong here: Julian Bleach was decent, but why didn't Russell T. Davies at least consider bringing back Terry?

One explanation from RTD. That's all I want at this point.
