http://www.WestwoodASL.com - This is a simple version of The Lord's Prayer based on the New World Translation of the Bible (Jehovah's Witnesses). This video is not intended to teach those learning ASL how to sign the Lord's Prayer. Rather, this is a REVIEW for my student to practice at home. (She has already learned the signs for the Lord's Prayer in our tutoring sessions.) So please, no comments about it being too fast or not clear enough for you. Thanks!

  • @matthewdcross Some people who are religious in nature find it uplifting, helpful, inspiring to memorize certain scriptural verses.

Why would anyone waste their time answering such a stupid question. It was a waste of time reading it.

If you go deaf someday, maybe you'll understand more than you can possibly comprehend at this time(obviously). In the meantime, I hope someone out there is praying for YOU.

  • Does anybody know where I can find a video of the prayer being taught and maybe with subtitles?

  • what does the prayers says? could anyone put the subtitle or anything? just to learn the word and phrase. thanks

  • I really wanted to see you do this, but it is all pixal... I sign the Lord's Prayer every Sunday, and I imagine you did a great job with respect. Those who complain as to WHY, should take its meaning to heart. It asks of the Father to give us what we need on a daily basis, forgive us as we forgive others, keep us from sinning and protect us from evil... finishes with acknowledging He is the "power and Glory".

  • U added this on my friends birthday!

  • @matthewdcross duh!! for church! come on!! dont be stupid :o

  • @matthewdcross It is used to start and end AA meetings as well. So if you interpret in that setting it is a good idea to learn it. THanks for this video BTW

  • Great job! :)
