all i know is, chuck berry sued beach boys over his sweet 16 song - and won, willie dixon (who wrote most of songs for muddy water and the like @ chess records) sued led zepplin for a million and won, I dont blame elvis- I blame society- "race" music wasnt welcomed because of the "face" of the music,, so- put black music or however you want to label it- into the "face they want to see" and you'll make millions, or in Hendrix's case- leave america. Blues started it all, and unfortunetly,.....
