Take the truck to a road course and see how it does. Also, take the money spent on modifying that truck and put it in a Vette. Trucks are made for hauling and towing.

@Danger555 I think this is pretty impressive for a truck that can haul that road course car to the track. Anyways, who said this is the only vehicle in the garage? I do like Corvettes but I think for the price of a c6 Z06 a used 911 turbo makes a better platform for a road course car.

@Danger555 are you just dumb? your point would be valid if we took the truck 2 the road track but we didnt and we also didnt ask the guy in th corvette 2 line up next to us either. He came to the dragstrip to run in a STRAIGHT LINE which is what this HEAVY truck was built to do so stop being such a hater and appreciate the ability to put a 4 door full size street truck in the 10s and get off the corvettes nuts we all know corvettes will beat a truck on a road track thanks for the obvious u clown

$2000 and a little knowledge about diesels and your Diesel will smoke a Vette off the line but the vette is ment for speed not acceleration like a diesel. Diesels are faster off the line than almost anything but good luck keeping up past 100mph

At what point did I suggest that the Vette would be superior off road or at towing? Your argument is baseless, as you're challenging a point I didn't defend. A Corvette has far greater acceleration, braking, and cornering potential than a truck. You should learn to defend a position.
