The premier guide to combining verbal and nonverbal communication to gain confidence, establish credibility and make lasting impressions

Yes-a small word, but the key to opening doors both professional and personal. The power of The Yes Factor gets you the job, the promotion, or the second date. But getting a "yes" can be tricky. Tonya Reiman explains how communication works-what the words you speak actually say about you, and how the perfect pitch can help you achieve your goals, convince your boss or client you should get the account, give a killer presentation, or win control of the remote (without ticking off your spouse!).

  • They really need more videos of Tonya Reiman. When I type her name in the search bar, all the results seem to be at least a year old.

  • Wow, I just can't get over the fact that people are soooo negative. Read these comments. This shows the negative conditioning of our society by the media, TV and others. Wow. this is GREAT stuff if your smart enough to figure it out...Tonya, you really "own" this stuff and you are great at expressing it and teaching it. Thank you! I am ordering your book right now. And if you know anyone that needs to buy or sell a home in Florida...please get in touch!

  • This stuff used to be called Neurolinguistic Programming, or NLP. If you're careful not to go too far and "mimic" the other person, it does increase your chances of establishing rapport with someone, but it's all relative. This might give you an extra 15% to your chances of success, but it can't work magic. NLP actually went a few steps further and talked about watching which way people's eyes went when they looked away from you to determine if they were visual, auditory, or tactile.

  • It looks at times she's communicating in sign language and its pretty annoying.

  • i THINK IF YOU ACT LIKE THEY DO, IT WOULD BE COMING ACROSS LIKE YOU ARE MAKING FUN OF THEM ???

  • I have her book body language and I get what she says but it may not go for everybody she right about simiar posteurs to get your word acrossed

  • Nice, but all of this is not new. Of course. But you should think about -well, it's a body language too...- the voice! Your voice doesn't bring confidence to me. It's too noisy, disturbing, and most of it... doesn't come from your diafragma. It's like you're compressing the diafragma and stomach and talk. Let your breath go down to your diafragma and talk from there... not from your upper part of your lungs.

That's all. The rest is ok.

  • is she having an affair with o'reilly?

  • She's using NLP techniques, by touching her finger to her thumb! Hmmm is that to convince us that we should believe her more than we would without the techniques?

  • Miss Tonya..I have been looking forward to your audio version of the book!!! Thank you for sharing your AMAZING expertise & information!
