Creative Edge Effects explores ways to add your own borders and edges to your digital and scanned images. From a simple blurred transition edge we progress through a filtered edge and finally to an edge created from a scanned image. This allows the artist to create original and personalized edge effects, even mimicking non-silver processes such as Van Dyke Brown and Cyanotype.

  • I was able to follow you until you pulled a surprise by inserting something you scanned. I wish someone would show how to make edges simple instead of so hard. By scanning something found somewhere, you didnt realize we didn't have this photo, and could not inject a scan such as yours.

  • Thanks for the great tutorial. I wanted to blur to black, so being a novice it took we a while to figure that out, but it worked out great on our band's website.

  • thanks for that

  • that intro is so nice!

    wuts the music?

  • scary music at the beginning. x]
