You've inspired me, I was fed up with putting loads of petrol in my car so i've fixed up my dads old mountain bike and i'm riding to my girlfriends soon :D
@maikeli7 in UK I find I can bike on most roads except tight, busy dual carriage ways are not safe as cars need room to overtake you. Luckily there was a side path. Busy towns are generally fine.
I wish I could ride my bike more, but the roads here have no room, and the speed limits are 45, with everyone doing at least 55. Far too dangerous to be safe on the roads here. There are trails, but I have to drive 40 minutes to these. I'm whining, I know. Waaaa. :-(
Back in Massachusetts, I used to ride my bike a lot!!
I can't help noticing how flat your ground is and how few people are trying to run you over with their Humvees. And where are all the dead skunks? When I used to ride a bicycle on the roads, there were always dead skunks and psychopaths in trucks.
How much was your bicycle MichaelLorenger?
