In all my years of following the Israel-Palestinian conflict I have not known one Israeli Prime Minister who has genuinely acted to resolve the conflict and bring about peace. The words they utter in public and what they say in private, and more importantly what they do and don't do, indicates that they want the conflict to continue because under its cover they have been successfully stealing more and more Palestinian land. Any peace deal would mean a halt to settlements and theft. Not wanted.

For far too long orthodox jews have been unjustifiably revered based on the misguided notion that they come from an ancient and noble religion. Read the Torah, listen to the preachings of the orthodox, note that many have been caught in all sorts of criminal behaviour, especially fraud, and follow their beliefs to their ultimate conclusion, which is the preferential position of jews over gentiles, and you can see that it is man-made, bigoted nonsense and not worthy of respect. Nothing noble.

Not just them, though, basically any person who allows themself to embrace more and more of religion will inevitably leave behind more and more of reality. The very teachings of the Torah, for example, are totally outdated, unscientific, self-serving, ethnocentric, prejudice that ultimately results in evil acts against other peoples who happen to be "outsiders" as defined by the religion.
