@moots02 Are all skill levels welcome??

@DucatiMo22 stock suspension these days are incredibly good, unless you are sponsored and are required to ride hard to keep the sponsorship. You are right, setting the sag is the first thing to do, but I found that a well balanced compression/rebound works really well at Chuckwalla, since the track is not too bumpy yet.

Rode Chuckwalla Monday 4/12 in reverse and it felt very rough in certain places.. also, I saw 3 different tires that were missing chunks out of them. All n all.. fun track. Rained and then windy with sand blowing all over so never opened it up 100% next time.... Bitchin Vid though.

@motogpslider Yeah, I'm just getting into the track so I have stock suspension. Next week I'll get it set up for my weight at Fontana though...

@DucatiMo22 ...I'm not so sure about that...the track flows really well, so if your suspension is setup correctly, you should be able rail past liter bikes. I bet a properly setup 600 can fly through the corners.

@jjjp0619 unfortunately, the closest hotel is in Indio (about 55min west). I think they are still in the process of building facilities to accomodate camping at the track...which is what we plan to do next time...maybe next month with Motoyard
Was this with SoCalTrackDays? If so, how is it setup? Just ride all day with no sessions??

No sessions. Open track except for a 45 minute lunch break.

@motogpslider It's on my '09 R1 with Akrapovic full system. Does sound a lot like a V4. The GoPro sound pickup isn't all that great, so it's hard to tell.
