Abkhazia was a visceral part of Qarthvelian (Georgian) state formations - first Kolkhian, then Laz (Egrisi), later the so-called Abkhazian Kingdom and finally, from the close of the 10th c., it became part of the unified Georgian kingdom and until the late Middle Ages it remained as just another administrative unit like other Saeristhavos of Georgia.

I am very worried about NATO (especially US) warships steaming into the eastern Black Sea, where they have no legitimate business. This is yet another provocation of Russia. There is the real risk of a naval confrontation there now. NATO command staff should also be aware that Russia has VERY capable anti-ship missiles now--There is no effective defense against a salvo of Sunburn anti-ship missiles, as the US Navy's own war games demonstrated. NATO, get the Hell out of the eastern Black Sea!

georgia should stop fucking with russia already those violent georgians dont understand nutn, bomb their military to hell so maybe ppl in abkhasia n ossetia could live peacefully as they deserve
