yeh you go and live on top of a mountain and lets see how long you last. sorry to break it to you but material things are important in this day and age. just because the west is so used to their luxuries does that mean other parts of the world are not allowed to have them?

Materialism is not the only way to happiness...Tibet survived thousands of years...why not now?

China is an empire with a taste for hegemony it has been like that through the different conquests that extended its territory. Tibet has been conquered by China. The race of the tibetan is not the same as the one the Han, their language is extremely different and their culture as well.
The European did awful things against many countries in the world and tried to destroy their cultures. But they are not the only ones: Arabs, Chinese, Africans and others did it as well!

why is china so afraid of the media being in tibet? like a criminal afraid of the truth coming out. why is china so afraid of the dalai lama, a simple monk? why is china so afraid of the tibetan culture and the people? The chinese have tried and tried to wipe out the tibetan culture as a mean of cultural genocide and hasn't succeeded for 60 yrs of their occupation of Tibet. guns & tanks are not gonna work anymore. this is the 21st century.
