Watch this news report about the sorry state of healthcare in the United States, the tell me that the republicans are right, everything is fine, and no reform is needed. And for those of you who say that, I sincerely hope your insurance company doesn't decide to drop you the moment you become expensive, and that you never lose your job and your health coverage. If that happens, you'll find yourselves on the other side of the debate pretty quickly.
USA is the richest country in the world.... seeing this stuff is pathetic... it really is.... we have money for stimulus packages for banks... we have money for wars... BUT WE cant seem to figure out health care... BUT we all know why... it's the lobbyists paying off our congress.... these selfish pigs should be arrested for crimes against humanity....

Here in the U.S. we are also free to walk in to any hospital, get care, and walk out. The only time you wait for unreasonably long periods of time is when you manipulate the price system. Forcing prices down, causes demand to skyrocket. Demand surpasses supply, and you must wait. It's really quite simple. If you want free healthcare, you wait longer. I don't care what country you're in. You get a quick check up in Canada? Great. I'd be more concerned with how quick I can get an MRI or surgery.

Below is a list of the Democratic Senators that voted against the "Public Option" and the healthcare lobbying money that they received in 2008. My source is Open Secrets. Remember, this in ONLY 2008.
Max Baucus: $1,991,965
Blanche Lincoln: $1,104,186
Kent Conrad: $951,328
Bill Nelson: $608,559
Tom Carper: $572,307
Vote these greedy fuckers out of office when their term is up! They are in bed with the lobbyists and don't give a shit about their constitutents.

And yet many of our politicians demonize the Canadian health care system. Here in the US, the system has evolved to squeeze the most cash out of people.
Sadly, here in the US, the hospital-insurance blood sucking symbiosis we have here has been sucking the people dry of money and health.

This is terrible. Here in Canada, we just walk into the hospital or walk-in clinic, get checked out, and we're free to go. What I just watched looks more like a third world country than the United States of America!
