Its not made to survive any impacts, its not even constructed to lessen Impacts at speeds above 20km/h. another reason why the typical bike helmet is an accessory not a means of protection.
Wear em if they make you feel safer but don't drive like nothing could hurt you because you wear one of those styrofoam caps.
