@hendrixkixas maybe Blues for greeny :D

I recently bought one from a collector (Silverburst, Limited Edition) and the first thing I did was take out that crappy BurstBucker and installed a Seymour Duncan Blackout AHB-1 and lemme tell you, this thing absolutely kills. I play through a Peavey 6505+ and I found a tone that's louder than God!

i own one xp got it for about 1200 with a hardshell case
-
Awesome tone, I wish they'll make the Sg version of this
-
@hendrixkixas i would say so, but it actually means barely finished guitar...
-
Exactly, that's what I keep telling people. I'm getting my Standard '08 in 2012 for $2809 (with Connecticut taxes), and I can rely on it.

@reditreefrogs what can you say gibsons are made to last thats why there expensive. i got my les paul for about $2,000.
-
@hendrixkixas Barely finished guitar :P But I'm sure it could go either way.

@reditreefrogs Unfortunately for you there is more to a Gibson Les Paul to reflect the price than just looks.

I played this guitar at Guitar Center. I liked it from the start till I seen the price.
It's nothing like the fine fit and finish Gibson Les Paul's are known for and this is what attracted me to it.
Unfortunately the one I played and didn't buy was way over priced even at a used price.
This guitar new should be over $500.00. Regardless if it's a Gibson name.
It's like the ugly duckling for Gibson and price should reflect it.
