Why Slipknot sucks

Please, if you are going to say a band sucks, have reasons. I actually gave some. Oh, and, for the sake of debate, slipknot fans, tell me WHY you disagree. Don't just say "AHH YOU SUCK SLIPKNOT RULES YOU ARE NO TASTE IN MUSIC!" and actually argue INSTEAD of insulting.

LOL I dont think its fair to compare Slipknot with thrash or death metal bands. Of course Slipknot sucks in comparison. But if you compare them with nu metal bands, theyre not bad. Even if they arent real metal, I think they can be a great gateway band that can lead teens to heavier stuff.

@Bassbait Thats where your wrong. Slipknot has A LOT of heavy songs you just dont see it because you dont like them. You cant face the fact they are very talented people so you have to find excuses to say their not even though they are and you can try to say how untalented they are but its not gonna change a thing so you're wasting your time by making these foolish videos. @Nathannewtown I don't trust the opinions of anybody except myself to be honest. Plenty of my "idols" have terrible taste in music. Gary Holt from Exodus (one of my all time favorite guitarists), likes My Chemical Romance. Devin Townsend likes ABBA. Mikael Akerfeldt likes Morbid Angel's new album. Conversely, I like Linkin Park. Does that mean Linkin Park is one of the best bands ever? No. And Slipknot is NOT the Beethoven of metal, and even if they were, that's not a compliment.

@SlipKnot4568 First of all, there are plenty of bands with MORE record sales who are less talented than Slipknot, and nearly MILLIONS of bands with LESS record sales who are more talented. I'm not saying Slipknot is the absolute worst band on the planet and I don't think anybody should have to respect them in any way. I just think that Slipknot is terrible and this video is my reasons why. At least acknowledge their faults is what I'm trying to say. They're no Iron Maiden.

@Nathannewtown That's what you call rage. In fact, that's worse than rage, that's threat. When you get to the level of potential threats, you've gone too far. This is a conversation on youtube, why would you even be that pissed off in the first place? You should have seen it coming.

@Bassbait One more thing, Slayer, Anthrax, and a lot of other musicians think Slipknot is one of the best bands out there, and respect them, and Meatloaf said they are the Beethoven of metal.

@Bassbait Im saying some people think they rock and some people think they suck and have no talent. Just because you hate them does not mean they are talentless and they suck. That's your own opinion and other people have that opinion too but that doesn't mean they're gonna stop making music because people hate them. All music and bands get hated, but that doesn't mean they are talentless and suck.

@Bassbait Yea im saying their good. Just because the archives doesnt recognize them as metal doesnt mean they are not. You're gonna follow something and believe everything they say? All the people who dont like them think that they are talentless and they suck. That's their own opinions. If they were talentless, they would have sold like 10x as less records as they've sold, and barely anyone would show up to their concerts. Im not saying saying you have to think they are good.

@SlipKnot4568 So you're saying that "Slipknot is good" is fact and I'm wrong if I don't like them... I absolutely HAVE to think they're good, I'm not allowed to say they're bad? Because that's what you call a lie. Slipknot is not an undisputed great artist. There are PLENTY of people who think Slipknot are terrible and talentless. The metal archives doesn't even recognize them as metal at all. So it's not like I'm alone. And you want someone who is undisputed genius? BACH.

@SlipKnot4568 Guess what... awards don't matter. Bieber almost won best new artist. Plus, Vektor, a band much more talented than Slipknot, won album of the year by pretty much every website about metal. If I picked their heavy songs it would still be the same, in fact, it's worse because the fact that they have SO MANY songs that aren't "heavy" when they're supposed to be this awesomely heavy band just shows that it's HARD to find good material from them, and the heavy stuff sucks.
