"EMPEROR NORTON'S HUNCH"
In early August of 2007, this great band from the Netherlands wowed traditional jazz fans at the Orange County Classic Jazz Festival in the Hilton Hotel-Costa Mesa, California. Their "South Frisco" style is unique, and makes for some delicious jazz to listen and dance to.
Check out the band's website above for CD's and schedule of appearances.
I can hardly wait to see them again!

  • Oh boy! This band is just fantastic!

By the way love both styles of dancing by the two couples - especially that shuffle.

Anyone know how I can find where the band plays in Holland.

  • The website for the band is listed at the top of the write-up. Yes, they are great!

  • Dutch jazz is great. The Enkhuizen Jazz Festival every May is well worth a visit. (Check their web site). The town of Enkhuizen has several bands, the best of which is the Freetime Old Dixieland Jass Band.

  • Whilst the couples dancing are nto exactly "Ginger and Fred",they certainly enhance the whole scene. What music!
