@jaredDMI Moshing is the greatest form of unity. GFVF Good freidnly violent fun. Nobody is there to beat people up, it's to vent with your bruthaz. Moshing is participating. If I wanted huggy feely unity I'd go to a rave.

@2daewoo4u First off, Defeater doesn't have breakdowns. At least not the chug-chug kind people run around and punch each other to. Secondly, why the hell would you mosh to this? There's no unity in beating each other up. Shows for bands like Defeater are about people coming together to experience and participate in the music. When I go to shows like that I'm up at the very front shouting my heart out and, fuck yeah, jumping over people and putting my arms around them to stay standing.
