This record actually reached #24 on the hit parade in December 1954. The flip side was Art's incredible "rap" version of "Twas The Night Before Chrsitmas,"

@tubewlator Glad you enjoyed it. I didnt discover it until a few years ago, and LOVE it. Have found copies on 45 and 78 since, but this was ont he only one I've seen on 78 with pic sleeve. The night before christmas (flipside) is even better than doodl-li-boop! Thanks for the nice comment!

My daddy nick named me doodle-li-boop and I always wondered where that came from. Now I know. He is 83 now and I can't wait to show him your youtube tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.
