mine worked perfectly, but then it stopped working, its not broke because the lights still work. I connect it up to the computer and it recognises it, and i follow each step in the manual, and sometimes i cant get past the password bit. but if it does work, my xbox live doesnt work. Can anyone help, i have spent to much money trying to find an alternative, can anyone help?

Is it possible to use this device for gaming and a wireless N router for laptops and such in the same area? Will they interfere with one another?

@Krad45805 The TEW-647GA is designed to be wired to a device's Ethernet port and make that wired device wireless. It will work with any brand Wireless N Router including non-Trendnet routers. The TEW-647GA doesn't cause interference since it doesn't broadcast a wireless network like a traditional wireless access point. Instead the TEW-647GA connects to an existing wireless network as a client-AP.

So am I correct in saying that if I connect this to say a 5 or 8 port switch and have 3 desktops plugged into the switch only 1 desktop will have internet / network access or will all 3 at the same time?

Whats the range on this? The reason I decided to order this is because my Microsoft Xbox 360 adapter (white) wouldn't be able to maintain a connection from 30 feet and I would always drop from online games.

How well does this router work through walls? I have my computer and xbox upstairs in my house, I am almost above the room that my router is in and I was just wondering how well the speed would be, because the adapter that I have now causes me to lag. Will this adapter cause lag because of walls?

@xMW2xCODMANIACxMW3x You can connect the TEW-647GA with wireless encryption even if your router does not have a WPS button. The TEW-647GA comes with a CD-ROM installation wizard, and within the wizard you can manually enter in the wireless encryption key instead of using the WPS setup method.
