- normal ethical obligations void where opioids are involved;
- red flags - Aberrant Drug Related Behaviors;
- how they apply to ALL pain patients;
- pain pt presents, improves, gets penalized;
- it's a rigged game

    bullshit!!!

    never trust doctors

  • Hello dr deluca! I am less than a year away from graduating from college and have been through many of the experiences you chronicle, luckily my doctor truly does trust and care for me, however with the laws in place I'm unable to discuss this "rigged game" with him. I'm planning on writing a book concerning these issues and could use some insight if you're available. My major is international studies but I've always loved to write.

  • I am fed up my doctor who seem me as an addict, this guy probrably has a hundred red flags on me.

  • I've never seen a doctor who understands pain patients better than Dr. Deluca.

    I have had chronic pain for 30 plus years and I have learned that my doctor will always betray me. Always.

    He/She is not to be completely trusted. Ever.

    I am cautious about how much information I share. My doctor is like a black box. Input in. Output out. And I put in what it takes to get out what helps me with my pain.

    But I don't like this method. I'd rather have the doctor's expertise.

  • AMEN!
