  • People, Just remember it shouldn't take the death of a soldier for us to unite. If you want to truly honor our fallen heroes, stay strong always and do not waver

  • Truly a brilliant tribute...with a singer who has an equally brilliant and beautiful voice to boot.

  • @DrZaious The fact that it is voluntary is the reason it is so heroic.

  • @DrZaious What is your point?

Pilots chose to fly, does that make it their choice when an engine fails and they crash?

USPS employees chose to deliver mail, is it their choice when they get attacked by dogs?

Your statement has no logic or relevance.

  • @DrZaious I agree to a point. Yes its voluntary, yes its for education and a good job later. But, When we sign the contract, You aer made well aware of the risk of what can happen. SO to still voluntear after knowing the risk does indeed take courage, alot more then most are willing to make.

  • Bless this soldier and his family! We honor you all. I am proud to that Texans still sign in times of victory and times of sorrow. We stand ready to defend our freedom. Our sons and daughters at times pay the ultimate price. God bless the ones who are willing to serve. We love you all.

  • go democrats!

  • Amen. Finally a video without those westborough bastards. These soldiers have given the ultimate sacrifice and they should be treated with the utmost respect.

  • And I would like to point out that a threat to national secruity and a threat to our freedom is the same thing.

  • By God Texas does it right

  • "As a representative of the United States Army, it is my high privilege to present you this flag. Let it be a symbol of the grateful appreciation this nation feels for the distinguished service rendered to our country and our flag by your loved one."

  • It is sad when you loose a family member or good friend, but you do have to remember they did willingly sign the contract. They chose to go, knowing the risk.

Rather they wanted an education or use the service as a means to find a good job, they knew the risk that they faced, rather it be death, or injury.

My statements aren't ment to insult those who have died, but only to point out the obvious and have you remember that its not all heroic some of it is voluntary.
