@mastweiler1339 Well you always want to make sure that your ready to feel close and not vulnerable to somebody. Maybe he just isnt ready or maybe he's scared, either way just let him know that you really want to hug him and walk up to him and just slide into his arms. If he walks away just say oh well and try again later. :) Hope this helped :)

@Reillyroolers Just go with the flow, dont be scared just let him take you in his arms and make sure that you feel comfortable, I used to be all scared to hug guys but if you just let them its alot of fun! Hope this helped :)

When you approach her just open your arms out for a hug, and she'll hug you, but don't make it awkward, (don't pat her on the back or say anything stupid, don't laugh when you pull away from her and don't do anything else but act calm). The girl that I like and hug is way shorter than me, she about 5 foot 3 and I'm 6 foot 1. If she's shorter than you, just wrap your arms around her and don't lean in, she'll lean in and rest her head on your chest.

Just some advice guys, if you like a girl, or shes your girlfriend. DONT EVER PAT HER ON THE BACK DURING THE HUG OR EVEN AFTER!! We take that as "hes not interested" and "no freakin way will i ever go out with you". We also think its impersonal like "your my pal" type a thing. not girlfriend or possible girlfriend. And it sometimes makes the hug awkward.
