A tribute to my dearest friend Ed Sharp. This is a video taken from a movie that Ed made. It consists of scenes from a weekend vacation when Ed and Glenda were young. They, with lifelong close friends RH and Norma Gray, visited Lake Winnie and Lookout MTN in Chattanooga TN. The film includes a lot of footage of Ed and Glenda's children and the children of Bob and Norma enjoying themselves in the parks.
Ed used the camera for many scenes and therefore he is missing from a great deal of the movie. But we treasure the scenes of him so active at a young age. He loved music and I tried to use the type of music in the background that was among Ed's favorites.
His friends and family love and will miss him. A more generous, honest and loving man never existed. His positive traits are far too many to cover with this short video. As for his business expertise, I don't believe he had any peers in the field of engineering. It was remarkable how he could immediately analyze and resolve mechanical and electrical problems. He was a natural born engineer which is very rare.
Ed would agree his most important positive trait is no doubt his faith in God. Ed is a Christian who lived his faith and his life is an example and inspiration to us all.
He'll always be with us.
