The character from Walt Disney's newest animated feature "Tangled" originally titled as simply "Repunzel". A very quick sketch of the films main character. Please leave comments and critique. Trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSx1dYJlJh4

  • This girl is gifted

She is so talented ما شاء الله

  • @MohammedAlsafi i am a guy.

  • You're drawing from the outside - in. Which means, you've outlined the face and the hairline first. You should rather, draw from the inside - out. From the internal construction of the head and face first, then add the hair details afterwards. The hair rides on the head, it should not be a beginning construction element. Also the outline edges of the face are just the edge of the face/head volume, so get the volume and construction right, then the edges will follow.

  • @JozefSzekeres when i work from the inside out the head becomes disproportionate to the facial features...believe me i've tried.

  • @mrArtystik I have never tried drawing from the inside out. It is almost instinct to draw the other way.

  • Not bad she needs a bit more smoothing on the scetch es :)

  • at 3:45 she looks like Ariel

  • right that's it I'm getting out pen and paper!

  • @JozefSzekeres people draw how ever they want

  • Its beautiful

  • @mrArtystik Oh, and great drawing and video too! Thanks a lot for the upload!

  • @mrArtystik The same thing happens to me when I try to dry from the inside out. As for JozefSzekers comment: To me it hasn't made much of a difference when I had the hair features, but to me it seems like it can help to define the lines of the forehead and just above the ears.

@JozefSzekeres Almost everyone has a different drawing style. You should remember that, and remember that everyone has different preferences too!

  • i can't see from the hand :P
