That's definitely a hummnjgbird!! No moth can hover, much less fly backward.

I thought it was a humming bird at first... but after watching the video closely... it is infact a moth... the sure tell to this is in the first few seconds of the video... between 0:04 - 0:05 ... you will see it pull away from the flower... and curl its proboscis up... if it were a bird it would not do this behaviour... i know the video is burly in that section... but you can clearly make out the fact that it has been curled up.

it's sure a bird.i just saw in my garden this morning..humming bird.at first i thought its a bee/hornet..then everyday i watch carefully n saw the beak,wings n tail..caught it my camcoder..about an inch.plz google to get numerous info...moth doesnt hav humming beak..tenkiu aurosmi 4 sharing the video.

not a bird. that's 'Macroglossum stellatarum', a species of moths that resemble hummingbirds in flight. good catch though.
Having given teh lead my own reasearch lead me to the fact that it is not what you mentioned but "Colibri-thalassinus".. Thanks for that
