The darkest thing about Africa is our ignorance of it. Nas speaks the truth. You cannot understand the beauty and significance of Africa until you go there and experience it for yourself. It makes me sick how people in highly developed countries live relative to how most beautiful, kind friendly African people have to live. This is the birthplace of mankind, all of mans origin and home, and we have disgraced it. Shame on humanity.

But those are just the concrete jungles of the Africa. If you go to the rural areas you see a part of Africa seldom shown. You can be there with all your gold & diamond chains & chances are nothing will happen. They dont care for these kind of things, the people are so down to earth, connected with nature & the "civilized" world just laugh at them like it's so unfortunate. This kind of shallow mentality caused hundreds of cultures to be erased by conquerers in the name of civilization. Crazy.
