If you look very closely, Mark gets incredibly lucky, a miracle almost. Instead of going back into his foot prints from his first shot out the bunker, look how it is teed up on the edge of the foot print and has not gone into his foot prints. This really helped him get the cushion of sand he was struggling to get with bad technique. He doesn't change his technique, but gets a great result thanks to the ball sitting on the bed of sand and slight upslope. Isn't that correct Mark?

Mark still thinks it's ok to play the shot off his back foot... not ideal when you are trying to create a shallow angle of attack and also, more importantly, keep the face open through impact...
shame
