  • @JJ10DMAN I'm in favor of removing the triplet hits at the end of every chorus of Moondance by Van Morrison. I cringe every time. They just seem to epitomize the stupid VA VA VOOM strip club bump, and if you are in a combo and have to play it just see if every time they come around your bandmates have to hit it harder and louder, just to see who's boss. It's about as musical as Crazy G.

  • @JJ10DMAN I guess if we'd ever played it in with others before we'd have been shown how it goes. We seem to be attracted to songs we feel we know despite never having figured them out. It leads to a lot of mistakes, but after eight years or so on this gig, finding a song we don't understand is like finding out a girl likes you. Fear of mistake is puny compared to desire.

  • This is really amazing stuff, but I do feel you guys missed out one of the biggest hooks of the song - that dramatic accent that occurs twice in the chorus, where the whole song goes on pause for a beat until led back in by the snare drum. I kept waiting for someone to play it and you guys just let it glide on by every time! ( T-T)yy

  • There are not words to describe how amazing this sounds, especially considering what you're using to make the sounds! We know who the REAL musicians are.

  • Love the washtub bass!

  • howsabout.............some of these days? You would give it a treat!

  • what's the name of that guitar laying in the guy's lap?

  • i have just bought a Risa tenor.........its got Worth strings as I was told that it wouldnt take a low G in wire wound. The strings seem very hard and the action is very high as you go up the fretboard.? Any ideas?

  • Very nice playing. Those Risa solid electrics are so cool.

  • This sounds so great! This inspired me to build an electric uke! :D
