Water is currently more than double the price of gasoline. Buying 9 water bottles for a dollar each comes out to $9.00 a gallon.. for water! Tap water is available to us for less then a $0.01 a gallon! Stop buying "filtered" water from these water bottle companies! Don't let there be a War for Water in the future like the current War for Oil! Save our water!

We should begin w/ a more immediate & easily addressed problem. ¡Get rid of lawns! Yards do have a benificial effect. But no non-native grasses!!!! If you have to manually water your lawn then you have t' wrong kind. Yes it would be An adjustment but there would be no real world adverse effect.

70% water yes, but fresh, drinkable water is diminishing quickly. We cannot grow crops or livestock or anything with salt water. Until our great engineers figure out how to make salt water usable, we are in this situation.

Fact of the day - the earth is 70% water, and 30% land. With such an abundant source of water, shouldn't we worry about or land disappearing with time? With out land you can't produce anything...

As long as water is tapped, bottled, and sold in the same state (92% of bottled water), the FDA and EPA have no power to regulate the practices of these bottled water companies. They are not required to submit any test results or reports to anyone. "Pure" water with added "minerals"? I don't think so. As for fluoride being toxic, there are no concentrated amounts that will do harm to the human body. Corporations profit by scaring people away from the "toxic" tap to the "purity" of bottled tap.

Fluoride is toxic. It should be left out of the water and kept in fluoride tooth paste. The U.S. is one of the few countries with mandatory water fluoridation as regulated by the EPA, but bottled water, regulated by the FDA, does not require fluoride. Where do you think the fluoride comes from? It is industrial waste. Who do you think pays for the fluoride? Tax payers. Who profits? Corporations. Fluoride has been used to make people more docile/submissive, it's proven.
