There wasn't really which is why I wanted to set one as a standard to go by. 45mph in straight and level flight is rocking. The nice thing is you can also grab your normal size glider and boat around, then when you want to get some place in a hurry you grab your mini and have incredible speed. We are working to develop a very fast wing like that which a newer pilot could handle.

What kind of glide ratio does that wing get? With that kind of speed you can really do some cross country flying. How long can you stay up on one tank with the 11sm wing?

The glider has about a 9.5:1 glide ratio. Not sure after you add all that weight but it is super efficent which is why there is enough power to push it that fast and still maintain altitude. At that speed you are full throttle so I imagine you will only get about 3.5 hours on a full load of gas.
