In a night with numerous turnovers by both teams, the Central Valley Falcons jumped out to a 22-0 lead and then held on for a 35-19 win over the Yreka Miners here Friday night in the Northern Athletic League opener for both teams. The Falcons first score came on a 10-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Brandon Piercy to Tyler Naylor. Colton Silveria finished the game with 117 yards on 18 carries and two touchdowns, including a 52-yard score. He was followed by Matt Hubbard with 109 yards on six carries and a 90-yard touchdown, while C.J. Valdivia had 50 yards on eight carries and a touchdown. Camera operator Dustin Parker.
