  • That is NOT an MG Midget. Its a Nash Metropolitan. Completely different car. yeah it was made by austin with some design input from nash and stuff but its not an MG or a midget. The only thing those cars have in common is the differential, and maybe the engine and transmission.

  • You are right, i corrected it.

  • Ive seen this car in person. Although it was at the Elderly show in Tustin back in '07, it didnt have the wing then...the car is actually a piece of art as far as im concerned, the frame was painted a metallic purple along with the roll cage.etc.

sweet car, it's useless in more ways than one. BUT it is as sure as hell unique.

  • That oversized rear wing is ridiculous.

  • That's a neat little body sitting on that engine

  • lol Think of it the smart car from the early 60s

  • Do you realise tha you are full of crap?

The wing does exactly the job it's supposed to do.

obviously you know nothing about aerodynamics.

Check out all of the top fuel dragsters.

They all have wings on the back. Idiot.

  • Uhm, you do realise a rear wing provides DOWNFORCE, which puts more pressure on the back end, which, really, would INCREASE the chances of it flipping backwards...

  • chevy big block in a bathtub. i bet without that wing you could make it do a backflip

  • I saw one in person recently. The front suspension is almost straight off an Austin A40 and as such almost identical to one off an MG Midget.

  • I believe the cars made by Austin were pretty similar except for the front suspension.

  • Does that go to the cars and coffee in california or is that a different one?
