@oakdog6079 All society is obsessed with sex. Look at Islamic orthodoxy. But is it responsible for the church to encourage overpopulation in a world that is already so burdened by man's appetites, it is teetering on collapse? However, the Church is correct in promoting fidelity. A very special bond develops between spouses who have been true, or better, have had only each other as sexual partners. It is a rich love, love without bitterness--and that is a rare gift in old age.

I am with you, Matthew Fox. The Church has lost its relavance to me. It is full of man made rules and regulations. It denies priest the right to marry yet has embraced Orthodox priests to its fold for years and now is telling Episcopal, married, priest that they can be Catholic priests. Why? Because very few men want to be priests any more. And it tells homosexuals that they cannot be in the fold. God made us all. If God doesn't make mistakes, then all she be accepted & loved.

This ointment costed roughly a YEAR's wage, and she "wasted" it all over Jesus. But what did Jesus do? he COMMENDED her for doing so, while that phairasees and Judas grumbled about the "wasted" money. Many saints throughout the past 2000 have imitated situations like these to yield incredible results: take the Cure de Ars, who spent hardly

Sad, Angry, how so? I'm reading his book Original Blessing. There is nothing in it that the Vatican, any Catholic, or any Christian for that matter should fear. The Vatican is out of touch, not Fox. After all, this is an institution that will expel someone like Fox for writing Original Blessing, but not expel a single clergyman for molesting a child.
