    Actually it does. I get one every year and so far have never had the 'flu, and my colds last about a tenth of the time they did before I got the vaccine. A vaccine is just a disabled virus, it teaches your body how how to fight something, so when the real thing comes along it's already armed against the virus.

    Great advice except for the part about the flu vaccine. Most of the time the strain in the vaccine is just one of many that you could be infected with possibly rendering it pointless while at the same time exposing you to additives. Meh. Better off washing hands, eating well, getting plenty of rest and de-stressing your life with laughter, fun, yoga, meditation. Let your body do what it knows how to do.
