Totally agree. I stopped watching Guiding Light shortly after Sherry Stringfield left. Sheila Carter, Stephanie Forrester, Alexandra Spaulding, and Blake Thorpe were the best villainesses of the early 1990s.
Sherry Stringfield was an amazing Blake! She was in love with Phillip and married to Alan-Michael before she finally left!! I actually love her as Blake more so than Liz Kiefer!!
Heck Blake was married to all the Spaulding Men at one time or another...

I totally agree with you! I loved Stringfield's version of Blake so much more. To this day, I still don't buy Keifer's Blake. I'm just used to her.

Michael Zaslow was/is truly one of a kind. Loved him and Blake--regardless of who played her.

No , I said that wrong, she was not married to Alan Michael at the time. At some point Blake was engaged to Alan Michael.
But at this time -- Blake is in love with Phillip and goes to her father Roger to ask that he have Phillip's true love Beth killed.
