Here is some footage of a Serpent 950R 1/8th onroad car I converted from nitro powered to electric powered.
The car is being driven by one of Australia's best RC drivers Jeff Hamon from Trackside RC @ his local track in Brendale, Brisbane, Australia.
You can find pics and more details on this forum.

  • are yo braking with moter or mechanic?? block the rear wheels or all?

  • Mechanical brakes.

  • why Neu 1512 moter and not Mamba 2200?

  • When I built this car originally then mamba had not been released. The Mamba 2200 is based off the NEU 1515 series motor. With this particular build the 1515 was physically slightly to large.

  • where is the 6s lipo?? for me looks like more a 3-4s......

  • There is 3 X 2s packs. Two of the packs slide under the radio tray on the right hand side. The other pack is on it's side next to the side belt on the left hand side.

  • Hey do you know of a brushless kit for the 1/8 serpent vector?

  • @xaroulisofara When using an one way bearing (2 speed) you have to use a mechanical brake. I would use it, too, as you have no motorbrake and so a smoother driving.

  • Den Film vorspulen ist doch voll assi keine Kamera würde sonst so schnell hinterher kommen Schwachsinn

  • I used to race with the .12 serpents and there is no way that nitro cars can keep up with that one LOL
