This launch lost all engine power due to the anchor being accidentally dropped while it was cruzing and the anchor chain then wrapped around the prop. The launch then drifted onto the beach so a local crayfishing boat called Legionaire with two 700hp Scania turbo-diesel V8's with two Hamilton jet-units pulled it back out to sea. Legionaire is the largest trailerable jet boat in the Southern Hemisphere (50ft).
