@arkansaspigbowhunter I totally agree, rages have a problem, the angle of the deployed blade is to shallow, therefore it eats all the momentum of the arrow,
here in Maryland is open season now, been open not even a week, and I already put 2 does in the freezer using the same head, all I did was clean the head after each kill.
grim reapers are great,
the only other mechanical head I use and also love is the T3 from G5.

@huntsman420 hey but they have a pucker factor on the hide of the dear so they will be fully opened when it starts to penetrate.
-
when ever i tighten them on my goldtips teh blades do not open the seem to get stuck
-
Looking at the slow-mo they do not open fully until after penetration. I'm sure they are still deadly though.

no .. not allways...

iv killed 10 deer with the rage 2 blade woow what a hole the size of a pope can i have lots of pic of it
-
i shot a doe Saturday from 30 yards. On the entrance side it went dead center of a rib and blew it in half on the exit side it went through another rib dead center and blew through that and ended up in the dirt. That's right a clean pass through (with going through ribs on both sides) with ease. grim reaper broad heads are the way to go

Evil.

I love grim reapers there all ill shoot as long as they keep making them. Talk about a hole and a blood trail if thats what you like to see then give grimreapers a try. I think youll like what you see.

well th rage i shot my deerwith thisyea i fine, it cut through rib and passed through, but its still good. thats why they are rated te best broadhead right now.
try shooting a deerhide with a rage 2 blade and see what happens.

Rage sucks. Stupid kinder surprise broad heads. Shoot a sonic, of if you have to have mechanicals... Shoot reaper razor tips, stronger design, ya the blades may not open on impact, but they wont BREAK OFF either.
