  • Anyone who thinks the US spent billions of dollars in Iraq for the sole purpose of bringing "democracy" to Iraq and that they would then walk away empty handed is an epic fool

  • Yes, this is real news. They may not have the resources at the moment to do the active investigative journalism, but - call it what you will - this "blog" is a postitive step in the right direction. I couldn't care less if the reporters are biased - they seem to be biased towards giving facts rather than talking points and that's what we need to counteract the mainstream bullshit. Sure, they don't cover all kinds of views and have every kind of person on, but that's called cutting out bullshit.

  • Its a matter of semantics. The US has practiced a FORM of colonaization since the late 1800s. We call those "colonies" "territories".

It is just a continuation of the British agenda of "slave states".

  • Actually, Pepe Escobar is Brazilian; ¿but why should this matter?

  • this guys r jews

  • Pepe ...slap your sound man, he has you so overmodulated you are clipping!

  • TheRealNews: the best news network ever!

  • the romans moved in after they invaded and so does u.s., at least the corporations move in.

maybe we need a new word that combines the atrocities of colonialism, imperialism, and corporatocracy. lets spin irony on it, hmm, maybe "land of the free"?

  • lay off the crack, fool

  • LOL keep telling yourself that..

  • how about "drug away handcuffed" and that's Worden Fool Sr. to you

  • What a silly comment. They conduct their own interviews, many of them with experts marginalized by corporate media. They may have an editorial bias, but how does that differ from any other "fair and balanced" news outfit?
