Poem: Taking Responsibility

I really have no idea why this poem came to me, but it did:

Taking Responsibility

Peppered in thoughts of healing and feeling
The seeds of anger and rage are sewn
Thoughts and words and vocal cries
Arise at my hesitation to atone

For crimes I committed against myself
And those I love, in bitter state
Who finds theirself in better health
With the chance, not taken, to berate

The Angel of Despair and the Demon of Fear
And uglier words that I hate to hear
But I listen to it all and take it all in
And wait for my chance, my moment, to pin

The misdeeds and misdoings on a moment of self-doubt
But my moment is stolen as you all crowd around
And at the end I'm left where it all first began
Taking responsibility, stepping up, and becoming a man

you don't need to memorize the whole poem for it to sound good u read it perfectly

its a group thing me and my freinds are trying to prove the point that people world wide should stop blaming others for their problem and "take responsibility" for their own actions i needed a poem or song to get the message across thanks a again and continue posting good and positive things like this i enjoyed listening to it you also have an incredible speaking voice ever tried spoken word
