  • This is NOT US punk garage, but rather 60s Mod like the Who/Small Faces; the Eyes were ENGLISH, inspired by the Who. This track is the B-side of their first single from late '65; they had four UK-only 45s on Mercury records, but no album when active (you needed a actual "hit" to record an entire LP back then). This is fantastic, one of the best English non-hit records of the 60's, even if it's based on "Can't Explain" and "Watcha Gonna Do About It". Thanks for posting!

  • Man, these guys are awesome...

  • @Khultan yea , punk sucks and so do you . big 10 inch whoppers to be exact

  • Always a favourite with myself and Penny at Colibosher do's.

  • Sounds exactly like the fleur de lys

  • RiotCity66 is right, these guys were an English Mod band, simple as that. They actually used to wear fish tail parkas with tyre tracks up the back :)

  • I can't explain how much I like this song!

  • Bonjour, vous aimez les sixties ? écoutez et podcastez mon émission "le super son des 60's" sur le site de plumfm. You like the 60's ? please, listen and podcast my broadcast "le super son des 60's", connect to "plumfm". Salut et faites gaffe au rock and roll.

  • Garage and Punk are deeply connected, and quite alike.. Put some more distortion on the guit, stronger drums and a harsher , less singing voice , ( practically another band playing the same song in their style), and you got yourself a standard 60s-70s punk song.

  • freakbeat per excellence ...
