JANA ROBBINS, BARBARA ERWIN, ANNA McNEELY in "You Gotta Get a Gimmick" from GYPSY

Jane Robbins as Mazeppa, Barbara Erwin as Tessie Tura and Anna McNeeley stopped the show nightly with Stephen Sondheim & Jule Styne's "You Gotta Get a Gimmick" in the 1989 Broadway production of GYPSY, directed by librettist Arthur Laurents, and starring Tyne Daly. They stopped the show once again during this May 15, 1991, appearance on GERALDO, hosted by Geraldo Rivera .

This was a lost treasure. I was in the audience the night after Tyne Daly won the Tony award for her performance. There was unbelievable electricity. Also, after each of the "Gimmick Gals" performed, there was an ovation--the orchestra had to stop each time until the audience calmed--wonderful!
