Tool Texas

Yes, there is such a place!
Since I have heard the expression _____ is a "tool", I thought it would be funny to give you a short tour of Tool, Texas.
It is at Cedar Creek Lake in East Texas, about one hour from Dallas.

Another interesting aside, it is right down the road from Gun Barrel City, TX!

Hey you missed the Wild Olive Branch Ministries near the water tower. It is my local congregation. I grew up in Tool, went away and now I am back. :) Nice. :) I love the lake area.

Yes, I've been going there since I was a little girl. My grandparents built a cabin on the lake when it was first filled! Sorry we missed your congregation in the tour :)

that First Baptist Church of Tool is my church, that Tool Elementary School was built recently because Malakoff Elementary School burned down and the kids had a shorter distance to go to school in Tool. But chyea, funny thing!!!

Tool, Texas was named after my great great grandfather. He brought the first telephone to Texas.
